How Finland’s joint application works — a step-by-step guide
Key dates, entrance exams and documents for the autumn 2027 intake.
Most English-taught bachelor’s programmes in Finland are open for applications at the same time, through one national portal.
Key dates
The main joint application for autumn programmes opens in early January and stays open for about two weeks. Results are usually published in spring.
Entrance exams
Many universities of applied sciences use an online entrance exam, sometimes followed by an interview. Practising with past exam formats makes a big difference.
Documents
Prepare certified copies of your O/L and A/L results, your passport and proof of English early, as some must be uploaded before the deadline.
